Decrescendo

November 22nd, 2007 by halou

Man, I’m tired. Woke up the past two days with slight congestion. If I do so tomorrow, I’m afraid it could affect my holiday consumption. A nap would be ideal.

I don’t think I mentioned it here, but on the weekend I was in the studio with Count laying down some more guitar and bass - primarily on ‘Clipped’. Also played some things along Robin’s part on ‘Seabright’. Very worthwhile session - one of those few where very little experimentation is needed. Also, we finally began working on ‘Stop, Thief’ for the first time since Dallas. Forgot how much potential it has. Like everything else, it’s being changed around and should end up sounding quite different than intended.

Rebecca last night came up with a new vocal for ‘Life Is Hard Enough’ that sounds great. This doesn’t mean as much to you as it does to us, but she’s nailed it and we’re all feeling really good about it. Should be recording final vocals for it over the weekend.
