We’ve just finished up recording vocals for ‘Sneaky Creatures’ - one of the few songs that will probably not undergo a name change. We also finally figured out the middle eight bit. We’ve been struggling with what to do there since we’re not really into the ’solo’ thing much. Also, trying to lay off the vocal effects that one usually adds to make one vocal part contrast with the rest of the track (you know, the ‘radio’ effect or the cutting up? Over it). This track has been around for a while and despite a few tweaks, like ‘Tubefed’ on the last album, we won’t change very much as everyone liked it from the beginning. This may also be the most ‘electronic’ track on the album, all told, though it doesn’t really strike me as ’sounding’ it. Who knows, though, once we remove the demo drums…

Anyway, it’s rare we get to work during the day like this and it’s nice not having to deal with being tired. Wine O’Clock hit a few minutes ago and things should really get going here soonish. Play along at home.
